A grand baby shower was organised by Ms. Stacie Thomas at Louisiana Accelerator Centre, University of Louisiana at Lafayette.

It was a beautiful Sunday morning (19th March 2006), Ms. Stacie, Ms.Judy & Ms.Sandie very beautifully decorated the hall in pink balloons and flowers. They had spent hours working behind the scenes to make the event unforgettable. Ms. Stacie made a beautiful 3-tire nappy cake and tied with pink ribbons with all baby stuff and placed it in the centre of the table. Pink color scented candles were placed to fragrances the atmosphere.  It was just a wonderful feeling to be there.

All the invited guests gathered to shower their blessings and Love. 

At first Ms.Stacie gifted a beautiful Corsage attached with two little pink socks to the Mommy to be (Sujata), New Daddy Batch to Bibhu & Proud Grandma batch to Geeta Khuntia.

Time for Gift Opening                                                                                                                                   It was gift opening phase and it took almost an hour and everybody was enjoying unwrapping of many cute gifts.

 Games Time                                                                                                                                                  After opening of the gifts everyone played  the games that Ms. Stacie had organized.                           1.The first one was guessing the number of baby bunnies in a baby feeding bottle. And the winner was Miss Barnes

3.The third game was guessing the flavors of the baby foods. It was fun watching everyone's face after tasting the baby foods. The winner was Ms.Amy

 Winners Declared                                                                                                                                          The  winners were awarded with lovely gifts. The games were really fun.

Lunch Time                                                                                                                                                      Then it was party time with yummy food. A crystal punch bowl was used to prepared pink coloured fruit punch.  Also prepared several snack trays & tray of sliced fresh vegetables served with a dip, fresh fruits and some strawberry chocolate and pink/white colour gift wrapped cake. We had some delicious American, Mexican & Indian foods. It was yummy.

Now its Movie Time                                                                                                                                        After lunch  we screened a 15 min. documentary on "Genesis of Reina" with the help of a LCD projector in a big screen. Everyone appreciated and liked a lot. The baby ultra-sound scanning video (in her mother's womb) touched everyone.

In the front door some Chocolates pouch were kept in a white basket as return gifts for  all guests "Here are some Hugs & kisses from baby Reina".

It was a wonderful baby shower. Many thanks to Ms. Stacie Thomas for throwing the party for the mom to be (Sujata). Special Thanks to Ms.Judy & Ms.Sandie for helping Ms.Stacie. We want to thank the entire guest for all the love and support they've given us so far. We are overwhelmed by the love and generosity that everyone showed.
