Reiki Sessions

Sessions are very similar to massage therapy sessions, except the recipient does not have to remove any clothing and touch is not necessary. The session begins with a little paperwork about your health history and a discussion about comfort levels. Sometimes recipients are asked to remove any metal objects from their body that may inhibit the flow of energy, as long as it does not violate any beliefs or traditions. (It is usually not necessary to remove rings, like wedding bands. Sometimes belts interfere; however, as with any such request, it is at the discretion of the recipient.) Finally I begin the session by asking the client to lay on the massage table back down and I begin the treatment.
