Wendi and Chris met at UW-Whitewater, where both attended college. Both are trained and experienced Reiki Master Teachers.

 

About Wendi

Wendi Hermsen has shared Reiki with the community since 2004. She is a Reiki Master Teacher and Massage Therapist. In addition she completed her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from UW-Whitewater in 2001, after which she earned her CPA license.

Wendi is available for Reiki treatments and classes. Her therapies are unique in that she listens to your body and applies various Reiki and Massage techniques to create a truly relaxing and therapeutic experience for her clients. She also utilizes essential oils, hot stones, and tuning forks as needed. By using Reiki and Massage, she has helped people with depression, fibromyalgia, arthritis, healing from emotional and physical trauma, and those seeking an inner sense of peace and calm. Wendi says that "while massage can do the muscle manipulation, Reiki can affect more of the root cause of the pain and symptoms."

Wendi was featured on the front page of the Living Well section of the Appleton's Post Crescent Newspaper in October 2006.
 

About Chris

In 2005, Chris received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Music. In addition to psychology and Reiki, Chris has five years of experience working with disabled students, autistic children, and the elderly in nursing homes as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Chris has completed Reiki training, and he trained with two Reiki masters, Stefan Gieryn and Jillian Maas Backman.

Chris wishes to offer Reiki to the community, to teach the concept and history of Reiki, and to answer any questions about Reiki.  It Chris's personal belief that Reiki will help humanity foster internal and external peace and to help humanity evolve into its next stage of development.
