There's not really much to tell... I'm from the mid-west, in what I like to call the "buckle of the Bible Belt". I live in a college town that is so boring, I want to scream most days. I'm more than old enough to legally buy liquor in the U.S. of A. I have a son who is both the light and dark of my life - he is both my greatest joy and my greatest fear. I am married but separated - my husband left for New Orleans in March of 2000 and I haven't seen him since.
Writing fanfiction is my release... and I need a lot of that. I seem to thrive under frustration and stress, though I can't tolerate them for long periods.
I listen to hard rock and heavy metal music when I write. Not the modern crap, mind you, but the music that came out in the late 1980's and early 1990's... you know - the good stuff. Hair bands are my faves, though I listen to the really hard stuff when I'm writing something intense. Good fights need good music, after all.
I tend to be fairly straight forward. In person, I don't try to put forth any false pretenses about who I am. Most people tend to have three reactions to me: they either like me, hate me, or aren't sure one way or the other. I make no pretenses about the fact that I'm a perverted woman... most people are, they just refuse to admit it in public settings. That's not me - what you see is what you get.
