Story

On a peaceful morning filled with the chirps of cheery birds, I was reading the morning paper and doing a little nose-cleaning. "Wh-Wh-What!?" I exclaimed in surprise. I was so surprised by one article in the paper, I accidentally jammed my finger straight up my nose! "Aaargh! I think I just poked my brain!" Anyway, enough 'bout that. The headline of the article said that a legendary pyramid had been discovered. Hmmmmm... When I read the article, I learned that the ruins held the buried pyramid where the princess Shokora, who once ruled this area, had been put into a cursed sleep by the arrogant, selfish, money-crazed Golden Diva. "Do I smell treasure again?" I thought. "Heh, heh, hehhhh!" As this wicked laugh floated through my mind, I was already thinking about the money and nothing else! Forgetting even to take my mid-morning nap, I hopped into my fantastic Wario car and headed for the Golden Pyramid.

Stage Goals

Goal Collect the jewel pieces that open the door to the boss rooms. Find the Keyzor that opens the door to the next stage.

Time Limits Hit the switch to open the vortex.

Treasure Find the CD in each level to hear its sound in the Sound Room. Treasure chests hold other items like heart pieces and coins.

Tricks

Roll Stop on a slope and press down on the Control Pad to start rolling.

Jump Attack While attacking, press the A button.

Dash Attack Hold down R and start moving to do a dash attack. This attack allows Wario to break through gray blocks.

Smash Attack While in the air, press down to break through gray blocks.

Stomp Jump Jump on an enemy while pressing the A button to add an extra boost.

Flying Carpet Use the left and right buttons to Control it and jump to make it rise.

Crouching Jump From a crouching position press the A button.

Crouching Slide While attacking press down on the Control Pad.
