Boost Ball  an upgrade to the morph ball that allows you to travel at fast speeds


Charge Beam  when you hold down the B button and release,  a burst of energy will shoot out of your gun

Flamethrower  an upgrade to the Plasma Beam that allows you to shoot flames out of your gun.  Charge up your Plasma Beam and hold down Y to do this.

Grapple Beam  allows you to hook on to certain targets and swing or hang from it

Gravity Suit  an upgrade to the Varia Suit that allows you to jump higher in water

Ice Beam  this beam freezes certain enemies when they are hit with a single shot. Opens White Doors. Charge up the Ice Beam for a more powerful blast of energy.

Ice Spreader  an upgrade to the Ice Beam that shoots out a blast of ice freezing anything near the blast. Charge up the Ice Beam and hold Y for a second to activate it.

Missile Launcher  this part of your suit shoots missiles when you press Y. Missiles destroy objects made of Radion or Brinstone.

Morph Ball  morph into a ball to fit through tight areas or as a technique to fight off enemies. Only in this form can you lay bombs.

Morph Ball Bomb can be used to break cracked walls and activate certain devices. It can also easily break items made of Sandstone or Talloric Alloy. By placing a bomb and staying still you can perform a bomb jump.

Phazon Suit the viral corruption of the Power suit has caused some beneficial side effects. The suit is resistant to the effects of Blue Phazon and its shielding levels are higher.

Phazon Beam when in certain pools of Phazon you can let out this beam when wearing the Phazon Suit by equipping the power beam.

Plasma Beam fires streams of molten energy. This beam can ignite flammable objects and enemies. Opens Red Doors and is very effective against cold-based enemies.

Space Jump Boots increase the leaping capability of the Power suit through the use of boot mounted thrusters.

Spider Ball allows you to move the Morph Ball along magnetic rails. While attached you can also do a bomb jump.

Super Missile the Power Charge Beam combo. Is able to destroy objects made from  Cordite.

Thermal Visor alows you to see in the infrared spectrum. Hot objects are bright in the Visor, while colder ones are dim.
Varia Suit adds increased heat resistance to the Power Suit. Extreme heat sources and heat-based attacks will still cause damage.

Wave Beam fires powerful electric bolts and includes a limited homing capability. Opens Purple Doors.

Wavebuster an upgrade to the Wave Beam. Shoots out a continuous stream of electrical energy.

X-ray Visor can see through certain types of material. Robotic enemies jam the visor's frequency.
