Actually a girl!  She is a cyborg: her entire body has been surgically strengthened with robotics.  She is the greatest of all space hunters and has successfully completed numerous missions that everybody thought were impossible.

Tricks

Door Jump- when you come to a door let the blue close over you without you going through the door! 1. press up and down to make the screen scroll down and to make it easier on your fingers- when Samus is near the bottom of the screen jump

Ball Jump- when you are rolled into a ball and fall off a ledge you can jump in mid air

Bomb Jump Standing- lay a bomb, stand up, and jump w/ the blast

Tips

Defeating Kraid-  The best way to defeat Kraid is first get the varia suit. This will help decrease any damage inflicted upon you. When he throws the spikes jump to the other side of him and nail him with missiles. TRY TO GET CLOSE WHEN YOU DO THIS! And repeat.

Defeating Ridley-  Freeze his flames and get as close to him as possible.  Sometimes the flames will go over you but sometimes you have to dodge them a bit. NAIL him with missiles.

Defeating Mother Brain-  Freeze the Rinka by the last Zeebetite. Stand in the spot where the Zeebetite was and hurl missile at the Mother Brain until the Rinka come alive freeze them again and repeat

Escaping from an attached Metroid-  LAY A BOMB
