            The Philippines has witnessed the coming and going of many eras, each of them with its rich share of conflict, drama, adventure, victories, failures, dreams and romance. Unfortunately they can't all possibly fit in 2 megs.

Thanks to the scribes of history who use poetry and prose instead of textbooks and lectures, these eras are preserved in all their fervor and color. They've kept the illustrations alive, first through word of mouth, then with ink and paper, then published books. Now we are in charge of passing on this legacy...
