Allison - Thompson Jacob B. Allison was born January 13h 1831 in Tennessee. His parents were Green and Mary Allison. Nancy Jane Thompson was born December 8th 1831. They were married June 7th 1855 in Lincoln County, Tennessee by T. H. Freeman, Justice of the Peace. They had 8 children. 1. Isabella �Belle� Allison was born November 11th 1859. She married Jackson Fanning. They lived in Fort Worth, Texas. She died there on September 26th 1939. 2. Nara Ella Allison was born January 1st 1861. She married Marion Jacks. (his first wife was a sister to Henry�s first wife). She died June 16th 1934. 3. Nancy Jane Allison was born December 19th 1862. She married Holmes Marshall Rich. They were married in 1882. Nancy died in 1899. 4. Frank married Annie Pearl Solomon in 1895. He is buried in Nashville. 5. Lou Ellen �Mollie� Allison was born April 25th 1866 in Mulberry, Tennessee. Her first husband was Riley Fanning, after his death she married Henry Fanning. She died in Huntsville, Alabama on August 13th 1939. 6. Julia Allison was born August 11th 1867. She married Jim Honey. Julia died December 23rd 1929 and is buried at Taylor Cemetery. 7. Green died young around the age of 12. 8. Maggie Allison was born October 14th 1875. She married William �Billy� Graham. Maggie died in 1957. J. B. Allison died December 7th 1901 and is buried next to his wife at Beech Grove Cememtery in Paint Rock Valley. Nancy R. Allison died September 10th 1903 and her epitaph reads We trust our loss will be her gain and that with Christ she�s gone to reign. |
