A Demon Comes To Town

By Kelvin "Lynch" Lee and Khyron KingKiller

"He comes."

- A weirdly short prophecy, it's still as incomprehensible as most

prophecies but has a flair of the minimalist style that makes its short and

inscrutably enigmatic nature all the more puzzling and frustrating to even

idly ponder, therefore let us all join forces and ignore this insipid

little prophecy that never does us, the readers or the characters any good

till its too late anyway. So there.

Lightning flashed and dark energies swirled all around the sky, it seemed

to herald a coming evil, for a foreboding feeling was in the air. One could

feel it, one could taste it. One could tell that something was coming,

something filled with depraved, evil intentions. It was a dark omen indeed.

Happousai was cackling evilly, for he had found a scroll that contained an

ancient secret that even HE was unaware existed until recently. It told of

dark powers that would be bestowed, of black energies which would be

released, so long as one summoned the wish-granter! One wish was all that

would be given but it would be enough! Enough to give him, Happousai, all

the girls he wanted! There were numerous warnings mentioned within

the scroll, but it did not matter, so long as he got what he wanted!

Inside his room, he prepared for the ceremony, as stated in the scroll, it

required many things, such as goat's blood and bat's wing, but they were

not difficult to obtain, he had merely gone to Cologne and stolen

everything he needed. Although he was rather surprised that Cologne also

stocked semen of a virgin. He really didn't want to know where she got it.

He shook his head and returned to the task at hand.

Happousai had already prepared the circle of goat's blood, and he had

already mixed the semen and bat wing and the other ingredients into some

sort of concoction. All that was needed now was to sprinkle this mixture

into the circle, and begin the chant.

" Um gwalla gwalla!!! Um gwalla gwalla!!" Began Happossai, his hands

making odd waving motions in the air as he chanted. "Agamotto,

Shub-nigurath, Cthulthu, Mephisto!!!!!"

Even as he cast the spell, as stated in the scroll, he wondered why most of

those words seemed vaguely familiar, particularly the um gwalla gwalla part......

All other thoughts soon left his mind as he noticed that the circle had

begun glowing after he ended his chant, the faint smell of brimstone barely

noticeable in the air. Flaring and glowing brightly, the circle was soon

spewing energy, which also formed a circular pattern, like the circle of

blood whence it came. The smell of brimstone was strong now, so strong that

the old pervert nearly gagged at the odor. The energy continued to spew it,

and the room was soon bathed in an eerie red glow as the energy continued

to build up.

At the seeming climax of the flow of power, something else came through

the circle. A red withering blob that resembled a mass of guts or worms

fished out a bucket of blood. It was gross even when you weren't sure what

it was. Its entrance was quite spectacular. Giving the illusion that is was

being hurled at great speed as it burst through the portal to slam into the

ceiling and splat to the floor....

[Owwwieee!!!]

Happousai blinked.... "owiee?" he thought.... odd thing for a demon to say after he

had summoned it.....Then again the entrance and landing was odd too.

The red-mass seemed to be very agitated. Multiple eyes, some human looking

others animalistic and completely alien, popped out all over its body and

were looking around wildly.... the eyes soon caught a glimpse of Happousai and

it reached out a tentacle to him, only to jerk it back, burned as it struck

the circle of energy which had still not dissipated. A voice from somewhere

spoke:

[What happened? Where in the world am I now? Why the hell are you looking

at me like that? How did a minor fiend like you get THAT scroll? Who are

you anyway?]

Happousai had been taken aback a bit by the seeming cluelessness of the

demon, but he soon reasserted himself and answered the thing in front of him.

"I summon you!" Happousai said. "I, the master of the Anything goes school

of Martial arts, and wielder of the scroll of summoning..... And by the

ancient pledge, I demand your name!"

The thing did nothing but blink its multiple eyes in shock and puzzlement

for a few moments before a sort of comprehension started to shine through.

[Unholy crap!!! You've Summoned me here didn't you?!]

"Obviously." For a demon, a creature feared in myth and legend for their

insidious cunning and dark powers, this thing was certainly not very

bright. Though being bright certainly wasn't a requirement for being

powerful. Maybe this was a blessing in disguise. After all, if there was

going to be some bargaining ahead it would help if the demon wasn't TOO

intelligent.

The thing snarled at him, visibly angry, but Happossai shook the scroll

at him, as if reminding him of the pact. The creature saw that he

had no choice and settled down, although his eyes still smoldered.

"Once more, I demand your name!" said Happoussai.

The demon snarled again, and then, reluctantly, gave his summoner his name.

[I am.... Bob!]

Happossai blinked..... Bob? Bob? Bob???? A demon named Bob? Unable to control

himself, the pervert was soon laughing his heart out.

[What is so funny?] demanded the demon known as Bob. [Bob is a perfectly

good demon name!]

Gaining control of his laughter, Happousai wiped the tears from his eyes

shook his head, as if to clear the last vestiges of humor from his mind and

looked directly at his summoned creature. "What is important is why you

have been summoned, the scroll and the pact within the scroll demands that

you grant me a wish!" Declared the withered old troll.

Bob snarled again, [Fine then fool, a wish, ask and I shall grant it, so

long as it is within my power!]

Happossai smiled "So be it....." he said ominously.

The demon began moving, gathering dark energies swirling through its form.

The eyes of the demon were glowing brightly, his struggle with power evident.

Happousai was rubbing his hands together in anticipation, awaiting the

granting of his wish.

Bob stopped his motions, and the energy lanced forward, striking

Happousai, who writhed and shouted in pain. A dark glow lit up his body for

a heartbeat, then two, then died off.

"What the?..." Happosai looked around, then looked at himself then finally

at Bob. "Hey! I thought you said you would grant me a wish!"

[If it was within my power I could have, best I could do was try and that's

what I did! Look, I'm a demon not a genie! See you later!]

With that, Bob's form started becoming translucent before fading away to nothingness.

Silence. Then...

"NOOOOO!!!!!"

Kasumi was wondering what all the ruckus was upstairs, there had been a

great deal of noise earlier and much shouting. She stopped dusting and

looked around, intending to ask either her father or uncle Saotome to check

upstairs, as she didn't want to break the rhythm of her cleaning. Finding

neither of them around, she realized that both had left once more for an

extended training trip, one that was designed to keep them as far away for

as long as possible from their perverted master. She sighed. No one else

was around as Ranma and the others had gone to the mall, although they were

due to arrive any minute.

"I guess I have to go upstairs to see if everything is alright." She said

to herself as she put down her cleaning accessories and headed for the

stairs.

After venting his anger down to manageable levels Happousai calmed down a

bit and tried to objectively view his situation. One, his wish wasn't

granted, through some cosmic joke, the scroll summoned a minor, lesser, two

bit, worthless, joke of a demon named BOB that probably couldn't turn lead to

gold if its life depended on it......Two, well he really didn't lose

anything in the process. True his wish being unfulfilled was a big

disappointment but he wasn't any worse from the mishap. The thought calmed

him down enough to sit down and smoke his pipe. Then his watch started

beeping.

"Hey, I'm late for my regular panty raid! Damn it, I've got to hurry up or

I'll miss all the little pretties!" With that happy thought, Happosai

jubilantly raced towards Furinkan High School, his failure forgotten at the

prospect of panties.

Unnoticed, a red blob of tired demonic form quickly reappeared and looked

even more worn out than when it was first summoned.

[Damn all things unseen, why did this have to happen to me?!]

Looking sadly at the circle surrounding him, Bob sighed and felt his hope

plummet into despair. As long as either the circle was whole or until this

Happosai released him from the scroll, the magic of the scroll would bind

him to this world and force him to expend all of his magic until he completed Happosai's wish.

A wish that Bob hadn't even near the power or intent to fulfil. It was too perverted to even think about.

No, escape was the only option.

Good thing becoming effectively invisible was an innate

ability for Bob. There REALLY wasn't enough magic in him to turn an ounce

of lead to gold, that was how much Happosai's perverted wish would have

changed the world. More change, more power requirement, more power

requirement, more exhausted Bob gets.

Of course the whole point of turning invisible was so that Haposai would think

it gone and maybe wipe out the circle. No luck, if Happosai gets back and

doesn't wipe the circle out soon...well, that minor fiend would probably

feel Bob's magic pulse again and force him to fulfill his wish bit by bit.

Bob could stay invisible for only so long.

[Forced me to use a spell to grant the wish that sapped all my magical

power, now, how am I supposed to return to my home without power????]

There was a knock on the door. "Grandfather Happossai?" said a soft and

feminine voice, and then the door was opened to reveal a very sweet looking

young girl, with long brown hair that was in a pony tail. She was very

well-built with a full and lush figure that even her conservative dress

could not hide. She had an air of simplicity and innocence about her.

The demon smiled, [Maybe I can get home after all.]

Kasumi wondered why she felt someone was in the room and dismissed it as

her imagination as she picked up a rag to wipe the red circle stain....
