bush bash v.i. to take a short cut (qv) through bush lawyer and blackberry.
cairn n. a track marker erected by a tramper who would rather play at balancing rocks than walk any further.
crampons
n. spiky soles used by those who would rush in where mortals fear to tread.
short cut n. a route that covers half the distance in twice the time.
tan n. light-brown skin colour obtained by submerging in a mud puddle.
tramp v.i. to lug heavy weights up muddy hills during inclement weather for pleasure.
