New England
Plymouth Rock
About a 30 minute drive from Boston down the Southeast Expressway (I-95) is America's most famous rock. There's not much to it, but it seemed so important back when you were taking American History that you just can't be in the area and not go see it.
Mayflower
Near "The Rock" a full sized replica of the Mayflower is tied up in Pymouth Harbor (sort of like the Santa Maria in downtown Columbus). The only other real attraction in the area is Plimouth Plantation, a working community staffed with people who actually live, work and speak the way the Pilgrims did. It is located a few miles south of the center of town. Beyond that, Plymouth is just an average New England town.
