Jack Daniels Brownies

3/4 cup flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
6 TBS sweet butter
3 oz baking chocolate
3/4 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
1 tsp vanilla
2 oz Jack Daniels Whiskey

Jack Daniels Glaze

1 cup sugar
1 1/2 tsp boiling waer
1 1/2 TBS Jack Daniels Whiskey
1/4 tsp vanilla

A Regular Guys Recipe

Mix together flour,  baking powder, and salt.  Set aside.  Melt butter and chocolate in top of a double boiler over simmering water.  Remove from heat.  Add sugar, eggs, nuts, vanilla, flour mixture and 2 oz Jack Daniels Whiskey.  Mix well.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Pour batter into a greased 8x10 inch cake pan.  Bake 25 minutes, until firm.

Combine all of the glaze ingredients and stir until smooth.  Brush over top of the brownies and allow to cool. 

Cut into bars.
