Chapter Officers

Faculty Advisor: Elenie Opffer

President(s): Katie Royer & Jenny Bain

• Organize, plan, and lead to ensure the perpetuation and overall success of the chapter.
• Work with chapter advisor to plan a calendar of activities for the upcoming year.
• Plan regular meetings and prepare agendas for the officers. Delegate responsibilities as necessary.
• Coordinate the planning and the implementation of the Induction Ceremony.
• Meet with the officers and chapter advisors to choose new members.
• Ensure that the chapter fulfills all Chapter Standards

Vice President: Katie Holligan

• Fulfill President’s duties in the absence of the President and assist President in the completion of duties as needed.
• Coordinate executive board and committees to conduct ongoing campus awareness campaigns – particularly the annual membership drive.
• Assist the President in coordinating activities to help the chapter fulfill all chapter standards
• Network and partner with other student and charity organizations with programs and activities.
• Plan and coordinate at least two service projects per semester.

Treasurer: Trisha Molholm

• Manage all financial transactions of the chapter with guidance from the chapter advisor.
• Receive and distribute chapter funds.
• Work with President and advisor to prepare an accurate budget for the chapter within one month of the new member induction ceremony.
• Balance the chapter account and report to the chapter, the advisor and the regional director at least once a month
• Submit to International Headquarters, by June 1st, a financial summary of the past year’s income and expenditures.
• Investigate sources of local funding and coordinate activities.
• Aim to raise at least $1000 within term of office
• Coordinate the Fundraising Committee and call committee meetings as necessary.
• Recruit Fundraising volunteers from chapter members and/or officers.

Secretary: Rhianna Horan

• Record and prepare the minutes of each executive board and chapter meeting to distribute to chapter leaders, advisors, and regional director.
(Minutes to RD can be submitted in a batch every month).
• Assure adequate media coverage of the activities.
• Keep a record of chapter activities.

Officer of Public Relations, Social Activities, and Academic Programs: Scott Shields

• Coordinate all publicity for the chapter activities and events. Coordinate efforts with the Vice President.
• Maintain good relations with campus and local newspapers and radio stations. Set up interviews as needed.
• Place ads and public service announcements in local media.
• Write and submit press releases for important chapter activities.
• Explore any creative methods of advertising or publicity to increase awareness about Lambda Pi Eta.
• Make and put up flyers all over campus to advertise chapter activities.
• Program activities that have an academic and career related focus.
• Network and partner with educational institutions and local corporations to arrange events that are beneficial to the members. Ex. Resume critiques, guest lecturers, test drives, interview workshops, tutoring services.
• Plan and coordinate at least one social activity for the chapter members per semester.
