LOTH is in the process of taking what we do "online" into our
real-life communities and following the commitment of our Creed.
What does this mean
for you, the new Florida member coming in - or to the longtime Florida
sister?� A lot!� It means that the same caring & compassion we display toward each other online; the same reaching out to offer
prayers, assistance and help online, can be performed "in real life."�
It means that your involvement is no longer for "just an online club of
over 6000 women worldwide!"� It means that you are able, and encouraged, to be
actively involved with other women in your communities who may need the
same love we show.�
It means luncheons and regular meetings "in real life."
It means classes
taught either online at LOTH University or in a brick-and-mortar classroom!�And the list is endless
- wherever our hopes and dreams may take us!
With our roster growing
every day, we needed some way to make sure that future benefits will go
to those sisters who truly do love LOTH and what we are trying to do. In order to be fair to those who participate now, we felt that this
was perhaps the best way to make sure that their activity "is worth it!"��
We do ask that you remember LOTH is truly an active organization.�
We encourage your participation in all LOTH-related activities, including
our regional and district get-togethers, luncheons, and meetings.�
If for any reason you find that you are unable to participate, and we are
unable to reach you, (ie:� e-mails bouncing, non-response to welcome
letters, Web site 404 errors, etc.)� after 3 months your name and e-mail will
automatically be moved to our inactive lists.� This is to ensure
that our members keep us up-to-date on changes and are truly interested
in making Ladies of the Heart a real-life group.� As with any organization,
*laugh* - banks, post offices, even your library cards - expire from non-use!�
You will find
this wonderful group of women so caring, compassionate and dedicated to
themselves and each other.� You will share tears, laughter, prayers
and hope.� You will discover new religions, new ways of life, and
new friends, all in an atmosphere of acceptance. You may not always agree with them, but hopefully you will open your heart and mind to learning new things; and in the process of our growing we all will learn something about ourselves;� that you are important, that you are special and loved and that through this
wonderful organization, you truly are a Lady of the Heart.�
PRIVACY: One of the standards
that Kari believes in and has adhered to thru the years of
Ladies of the Heart is honesty and integrity.� Your information will
never be sold or sent to anyone for any reason.� It is our Ladies
of the Heart Membership DataBase; and only Kari and I have access
to your information.�
We have had to utilize
information in the past when it became necessary to save a life and intervene
in suicides - and have found that because of our form info requested we
truly have been Ladies of the Heart and networked out to help our sister.�
Because of this registration, we have helped other women escape abusive
situations, saved suicide attempts and been able to supply help wherever
and whenever needed.��
Your Florida regional
registration information will one day be used to keep you up to date on events, growth, as well as current and future benefits
that we hope will include insurances, discounts and other items.� So, please do help us out here and keep your information up-to-date.�
