Myotismon, out of all the Season 01 villains, survived the longest. (Eps 26-39) You rock, Vamdemon!

He was looking to annihilate the eighth Digidestined so that he could become the Lord of both Realms. he almost succeeded-he had Gatomon and Kari captive, but Wizardmon (who was Gatomon's best Digimon friend as well as Myotismon's former henchmon) showed up with the Crest of Light relayed it to Gatomon, and Gatomon digivolved into Angewomon, and borrowing the Digidestined and Digimon's power, sent her arrow through Myotismon's heart, destroying him...but he didn't die. he digivolved into VemomMyotismon, who was insanely powerful and it took the full force of the mega forms of Agumon and Gabumon (Wargreymon and Metalgarurumon) to kill him.

In Season Two, after the defeat of the Digimon Emperor, it would seem that Arukenimon and Mummymon were the evil masterminds behind the whole thing! But, then it seemed that Owikawa Yukio was the mastermind!!! But NOOOO...it was Myotismon all along! After he was destroyed, (in 01) he found a willing host in Owikawa and resided in his body, though Owikawa didn't know who he really was-Myotismon gave him false promises of being able to go to the Digiworld, which was Owikawa's dream. It was not until episode 50 that the existence of Myotismon was discovered by the Digidestined and Owikawa himself, who died because Myotismon took so much energy from his body. How sad. But then the Digidestined, along with all the kids in the world, used their dreams and hopes to shatter his darkness, and he was destroyed. BUT HE WILL COME BACK, YOU WILL SEE!!! (insane laughter)

After all, vampires never truly die...(sinister chuckle)
