Stained Glass Pics
Here are a few of the stained glass panels I have made. It is very difficult to photograph stained glass, so the pictures do not accurately reflect the true colors of the panels. But you get an idea of what they look like I think. I will have to experiement and research the best way to photograh stained glass. Then, I can retake the photo's and post good ones!
The Piano Man This is my most recent design. It is the first one I designed myself, instead of using a pattern. I made it as a gift for my sister Tracy. I am very proud of how it turned out and plan to do some more in this kind of a series.
The Sun Burst I fell in love with this design after seeing it on a website. I wanted to put it in the window of my front door so I made it. It was the wrong size. So, I gave that one to my parents, and made another. It is also the wrong size! But this one is much closer to fitting and my husband says he thinks he can make it work. We haven't installed it yet however.
The Saguro Sunrise I made this simple desert scene just for fun. It is still not quite finished because I want to put it in a frame of some kind.
Oval Flowers I made these flower oval panel out of left over glass from other projects. I also tried a copper pantina on it, which does not show up in the picture. It'ts just as well because the copper pantina did not turn out very good at all. I didn't like. it.
The Iris The Iris was my very first stained glass project. I did it in class. It turned out allright for the first one I think. It was a very simple pattern with fairly big pieces.
The Noveau Panel This is the largest piece I have done. I like the design alot. I was practicing on larger pieces before I make a shower door panel for my bathroom and kitchen cabinet panels for my kitchen!
