This was technically the third Bondi run. The first one I did on my own (see web page Bondi 1), and after telling Steve about it and were paper thin and the inner tube was poking oujt through thernholedshe, he said he wanted to do it too.
Some time later we set off to do it but the day got stuffed, when Steve blew a tyre right at the very beginning of the ride. His front tyre had perished over the years, and was now paper thin. We had to wait about until K-Mart opened, so that he could buy a new one. Once we got that, and put it on in the car park it was geting late. We then decided just go to Bondi beach, have a coffee, and watch the world go by.
This meant that we still, had to do the ride, and we finally managed it on the 21st June 2004.
