BUICK REGAL PAGE

This is my car. Its a 1979 Buick Regal. The color is '72 Canary yellow. Current weight is  3150 lbs. The front and rear bumpers are fiberglass. Rear windows are plexiglass. With the NO2 it runs high 11's   !!!!!!

This is me racing at Rock Falls raceway in Eau Claire, WI.   I  had a 400 poncho back then (1997). I would drive 200miles to race and run low 13's with no traction, on street tires.  The car next to me is a BBC powered Camaro that ran in the 10's,  I think I was at the 1/8th mile  when he crossed the finish line!

My engine is a 1970 Pontiac 455.  It is bored .030" over,  .010", .010" under crank, CL77 bearings.  Melling HP oil pump.  The heads are 400 6X, shaved .060" 90 cc, basic valve job, Performer springs, 1.52 roller tip rockers,  valve job. I run a RAIV cam . Intake is a Performer RPM, with a Carter 750 carb. The headers are chopped 3-tubes.
                                                  

The  transmission is a TH350, with a shift kit. I run a GER 11" 2800 stall converter. My rearend is a 8.5" out of a fullsize GP. 3.42 posi.
