Welcome Relief

I was enjoying my stay at the residence
despite the pain and discomfort associated with having SRS. Honestly, I couldnt have imagined a better scenario for my post-op care. I really valued the hard work of the staff and the medical care the nurses provided. It was my goal to let them do their job and in the process I knew I would be well cared for, I think we both succeeded nicely. There were others who came and went during my stay that felt differently. Those folks were the high maintenance types who felt they should be waited on hand and foot. The objective of staying at the residence was not only to be cared for, but it was designed so that once you have the surgery you can slowly aclimate yourself to activity and caring for yourself. The staff and the nurses helped me a great deal when it came to understanding the impending burden of having to care and fend for myself once I returned home. In my opinion the care at the residence was just what the doctor ordered.
The nurse who came Monday morning to remove
my stent and catheter was exceptional and kind. I didnt know what to expect as far as how difficult it would be to endure, fortuantely she removed the catheter and stent out without any discomfort. I cant begin to describe what a relief it was to have those things removed. I felt like a totally different person with all the pressure gone, as well as that dreadful stitch that held it in place. It was also a pleasure to finally pee sitting down again. I had heard all the wild stories from previous girls who had warned us of what it was like to pee for the first time after the surgery without the catheter. I anticipated peeing all over myself, much to my delight I discovered that the direction was fairly decent. That was indeed a little bonus and it really has been superb ever since.
Later that morning Alice, the nurse,
came back into my room to show me the protocol for dilating using the plastic stents. I was her last stop of the morning, she sweetly referred to me as her dessert. She was very thorough in showing me how to use the stents. I had no trouble picking up the ins and outs of using the stents. In the beginning the stents glided in easily because everything was still stretched out from the weeklong stent I had inside of me after the surgery. I would soon learn that my tiny little bottom would not be so cooperative as time passed and everything started to contract. After lunch Alice came back to observe me go through the dilation procedure myself. She watched as I handled and inserted the stents deftly, she said I was a natural. She gave me some wonderful tips regarding the whole process from using the K-Y jelly sparingly to sleeping through the night without getting up to dilate. There were plenty of girls who felt it was imperative to dilate during their nightly sleep period. She felt it was more important to get an uninterrupted sleep in order to promote the healing process and I wholeheartly concurred. I had no desire to get up in the middle of the night, throughout the rigors of my dilating I never did.
It was a unique and wonderful feeling to finally
slide something inside me. What had only been a dream for so many years of my life had surely become a reality, I was liking it a lot. I pondered what the future would be for me pertaining to my sexual orientation. I seriously doubted that any man would ever enter me, the desire just wasnt there, moreover my thoughts wandered with the prospects of discovering my sexuality with another woman and her array of delicious, fun toys. All that would have to wait, though, the dilating would soon consume my entire day. We were instructed to dilate five times a day until we departed the residence for home. Once we arrived home the schedule was for us to dilate four times a day for an entire month. I wasnt looking forward to the grueling schedule, but I was bound and determined to follow it.
