| Algar is a very traditional spanish village with beautifully preserved 2 storey balconied houses, surrounded by orange groves. It is well placed for walking holidays, being near the Sierra Calderona. Alternatively, the beach is only 20 minutes drive away, and the city life of Valencia 30 minutes, including the airport. From January to March, skiing is available at Valdilinares and Javalambre, both centres within 1 hour of Algar. |
