World We Call Our Own
World We Call Our Own
Blank stares on the world
Ignorant To The Fact
We carry the torch to find ways to become better
Nothing
Dirty are our ways
Shadows Of Society
Society casts its shadow
Ignorant To The Fact
Nothing
Shadows Of Society
Coming Of The End
Empty thoughts in reasoning
Everything around us
It seems to be decaying
You look at how it has evolved
Are we better off now?
So much disease and suffering
Everything leads to another sickening conclusion
How can we call ourselves human?
All we are is animals
Heartless and cold
No compassion for anyone
Labeling each other
As if we know what were talking about
It is really worth being a part of society?
To die slowly, oblivious to everything
Or to open your eyes and stop the bleeding
All along becoming worse
People tend not to care what may result from their actions
Just rather how it will become a benefit for themselves
Lack of moral standards are the foundation of everything
Using society as a scapegoat for our own misfortunes
There is no learning from mistakes
Only to repeat what has been vital to our own demise
Surrounded by ignorance
The time will arrive
When there will be no turning back
Left with what we have
There wont be any second chances
Choice matters now
Its a shame to live a lie
We look at each other
Wondering what will become of us
Realize what you have done and only then will the answers come
There is no decency in this world
Everyone tends to be the same
Take a look around
Tell me what youve found
Nothing is what we are
Nothing is what weve accomplished so far
Empty are our intentions
Headed towards are own destruction
There is no heart
This world is slowly tearing apart
Plain as the eye can see
Perfection is never to be
Not even close in this case
We are the human race
As if you can do something
But we will always be nothing
Within the divine walk
Where men fear to tread
Excluded from society
They are tortured by millions
Nothing to do, but hide away
They know the truth, but nobody understands
Their words are mirages to many of the puppets
They see through out the masks of society
While others are turning their backs on the secrets behind locked doors
They dare to dream the impossible
They disregard the warnings
The hate they have endured has only makes them stronger
The force is too strong for many
The hate may swallow you whole
Controlling you at the end of it all
In your minds they are grains of sand
But to them they are the saviors of all mankind
Their minds are emotionless to the criticism
Criticism meant to brainwash, break, and crumble their lives
Subliminal messages threaded into every day life
Life no longer coincides with morals
It coincides with greed and deception
All life will be drowned by society itself
And the divine will rule once again
