The colt, Swordfish as he was known, never expected what he would find in the strange lands around his home.
After Swordfish left Stone Valley, he found the peaceful, vast land he once knew raging with hatered and battle between the Light and Dark. After a year of suffering and loss the two groups decided to try peace. In order to stick with the treaty, they chose a stallion and a mare from opposite sides to have a foal. Swordfish was chosen from the Light, and queen Dark Angel from the Dark.
Unfortunately the worst became of it. They had twin colts. One was pitch black, the other a skewbald. They called the black one Once Upon A Blue Moon, and the skewbald Heiroglyphics.
Moon was always an outcast. Glyph was smart and beautiful, and both Dark Angel and Swordfish admired and fussed over the colt. Moon was left to wander and explore and figure out life on his own.
When news of the defeat of the Dark at Stone Valley reached the lards, the Dark was enraged. It was up to them to finish the battle! With the treaty broken, Swordfish and Dark Angel each decided to keep one colt. Fearing the ignored would become the deadly, Swordfish agreed to take Moon for the Light.
With the leaders of both sides getting aged, the two colts are taking over. Glyph using his strategy and brains and his talented and deadly spies, and Moon having to use the tremendous willpower and heart his deceased father gave him. Two colts, both untrained in their loyalty, undecided with their love, with so much to prove...
