This website came about because I have been so impressed by all of the fan fiction that I have read over the years. Most of it has been BSB fan fic since I have been a fan of theirs for quite some time now. But as I ventured out into the fan fiction universe, I have read many stories in many different genres. I even took a stab at writing myself. Realizing that I couldn't compete with the talent that was out there I decided to build my own awards site with one thing in mind. To be different.
I decided to open Reflections in 2003 but it was short lived due to time and motivation. I still kept reading and wanted a way to recognize and reward the talented authors that were keeping my imagination alive. Thus Reflections was reborn! The main idea for the new site is to be the premier source for any author who wants to be recognized in the world of fan fiction. Let's face it, fan fiction is on the rise and there are endless stories out there.
With that in mind, I wanted to not only reward authors with a cool banner on their site but also with little prizes that will hopefully turn into big ones! I know it's going to be slow going at first, but this is my way of saying thank you to all of you who are, far more talented than myself (LOL), and who continue to stimulate my imagination!
