          Your love is like a river
            that covers all I do.
            It is just a sliver
            of the goodness in you.

            Your heart, made for giving,
            is precious to receive.
            It is warmth from selfless living
            of the choice to meet my need.

            So I bow and plead to God
            to be a better man,
            to shield you from the storms of life,
            to do all that I can.

            God has made us one.
            We'll walk together in His call
