| "MY COMFORTER" |
| When I was a kid, I had a comforter. It was my Grandmother's. It was smooth as silk, soft as feathers . When it got cold I would crawl in and be warm, safe, and secure. Now I am a father. Sometimes I have to be stern and know the answers. But at night, when no one is watching, I am a kid again. I ask Jesus to wrap His arms around me. They are smooth as silk, soft as feathers ...and I am secure again. BY DAVID LOOMIS COPYRIGHT 2000 |
