"GRANDMOTHER"
           Cottage cheese, hot summer breeze,
            a little taste of mint

and just a smidge of screwball bridge
            some special times we spent.

It's been a while but I still smile
            from memories of a lake.

            Jogging, skiing, shreded wheat and
            huckleberry pies baked.

But most of all what I recall was the
            twinkle in her eye.

A light that glowed and a love that showed
Bless be the ties that bind.
