| He was born May 17, 1878 in Woonsocket, Rhode Island. He was baptized at the Precious Blood Church in Woonsocket on May 19, 1878. His godparents were Marie Victoire Desautels and Louis Jalbert. He went to College St. Croix in Farnham, P.Q. in 1894 and 1895. There is reference to his being married once, not believed to have any other children, other than my father. He followed his mother to New Bedford after 1910. He did not marry my father's mother, Orasie Martin-Mayer, so there is no marriage license. He did pass away in New Bedford, Ma on August 17,1931 and is buried in Sacred Hearts Cemetery in New Bedford, Ma. He did leave behind some letters, army passes and a school report. |
