| Jean Baptiste Lafleur, Jr. was born in 1874. He died in New Bedford, Ma in 1967. I understand he was married twice. The second time to Rosanna. The second marriage did not produce any children. In the first marriage, he had 2 daughters, one was named Martine b.1904, d. 1968. She was married to Anicet Desjeunes b.1903, d. 1984. Everyone I've talked to about "Uncle John" have great memories of him. He owned a cottage in Fairhaven, Ma. adjacent to Fort Phoenix State Beach. I have heard so many stories of weekends spent at "Uncle John's Cottage". I will be posting them as they are written. Uncle John was buried at Sacred Heart's Cemetary, New Bedford, Ma. with his parents, daughter and wife. |
