Amelia "Ella" Lafleur never married. She made her home in Connecticut. My aunts Annette and Theresa both remember her visits as being full of laughter and fun. She got along quite well with my grandmother, and I've been told they would toast a highball or two during the visit. My aunts can only remember laughter coming from my grandmother's apartment during her visits.
I was fortunate to come in contact with Sue and Dan Larue. Sue is Dorilla's granddaughter. Well, as it turns out, Ella made the trip to California with Sue's family in the 1950's and there she lived until her death.
