Each Lunation corresponds to the Earth Day and Earth Year. There is no intercalar formula, as there are no Leap Days. Each Lunation is 27.3216 Terran days long and is divided in 28 Lunar Days (or "Lunes"). Each Lune is 0.9758 Terran days long. Thirteen Lunations, long 364 "lunes" or 355.181 Earth days, form a "Lunar", comparable to the Earth Year. All dates reflects Novilune at 180° longitude, since this point, located at the CENTER of the hemisphere invisible from Earth, or "Farside", corresponds to an astronomical midnight, while Novilune, or the week of darkness comes close to the Lunar version of "Winter". "Nearside", the face visible from Earth, lags exactly fourteen days behind.


Seasons

There are no seasons on the Moon as each Lunation corresponds to both the Earth Day and the Earth Year. The closest thing to a seasonal cycle is the 28 Lunar days cycle exposing each point of the surface to the light of the Sun (Plenilune) and to the darkness of deep Space (Novilune). Even this varies from point to point as the Terminator rolls across the Lunar surface, so that only points on the same Meridian share the same phase of the Lunation. Each "Lune" covers around 13 degrees of the Lunar surface and each week, called a "Quadrature", covers around 90 degrees.


Holidays

The holidays here indicated are named after the corresponding Earth Holidays, occur at 90 degrees interval and parallel the similar Terran Calendar. Their names bear no significance to any Lunar orbital event and are not concurrent in time with any Terran event, due to the different lengths of the Lunar "Lune" and the Terran Day.
