Heero was raised by Odin Lowe. Odin was the one who trained the three year old Heero to be an assasin. AC 175 Odin Lowe assasinated the pacifist Heero Yuy. In AC 188 Odin Lowe traveled to Colony Cluster X-18999 where he abondoned Heero giving him the last advice: 'No matter what happens, follow your feelings.'
Left by himself Heero was found by the scientist Dr. J who trained him to become a Gundam pilot.
As we see in the series Heero was very well trained to be a soldier. He can control his heart rate; he survived the jump from a 40 strory building only with a broken leg which he then set by himself. He also survived the autodestruction of his Wing Gundam. Heero is also a computer genious. He uses this knowledge to hack bank accounts and OZ databases.
