Apple mask
Good for all skin types. The ingredients in this mask work to tone and soften your skin.

1/2 apple, grated into a bowl
2 tsp honey
1 Tbsp uncooked, regular oatmeal

Grind the oatmeal into a flour, in a clean coffee grinder or food processor if you have one. Unground oatmeal is ok too, it just makes the mask a little messier.
Combine all the ingredients.
Lie back and gently press small handfulls of the mask onto your face. Rub it along the sides of your face, then let it sit for 10-15 minutes before removing and rinsing.
Avocado moisturizing mask
Try this mask if you have normal to dry skin. The avocado moisturizes, while the lemon acts as a balancing astrigent.

1/2 ripe avocado
1 lemon wedge (about 1/4 of a whole lemon)

Remove the flesh of the avocado from the skin and place it in a bowl. Squeeze the lemon over the avocado to get about 1 rsp of juice of it.
Mash the two ingredients together until the avocado is smooth or you're too tired of mashing.
Apply to your face as always, letting the mask work for 10-15 minutes.
Oatmeal honey mask
This is another very simple mask that takes advantage of oatmeal's cleaning and softening qualities. The honey lightly hydrates your skin. This mask helps to clear blackheads.

3 Tbsp regular, uncooked oatmeal
2 Tbsp honey

Combine the two ingredients in a bowl, then apply to your face following the basic facial mask instructions. Rinse off after 10 minutes.
