RAILWAY STATION
This is a very historic building, it is the last remaining example of a New Zealand Midland Railway Co, built station. Over the years additions were made, these included a veranda on the South end of the building.
The original location for this particular station was on the other side of the Inangahua River, at a locality known as Taipoiti, this was the terminus of the New Zealand Midland Railway Company.
Currently the station has recieved some cosmetic work, in the way of painting.
