The bridge is a shambles. Emergency power flickers, casting an occasional burst of shadow across the devastation. I grope my way through darkness, searching... must be here somewhere, I'm not that disoriented.

Dropping to hands and knees, I crawl toward Tactical. Need to polarize the hull plating, charge weapons, need... I just need to know he's still alive.

Nothing. I'm getting nowhere, finding no one. Wouldn't he be looking for me if he could? Looking for the Captain? Maybe looking for the man?

A gentle touch from the darkness. Two hands meet, clasp; fingers entwine. Reed alert!

Life support restored.
