| Let me introduce you to Coda. She was a sweety who was abandoned at the Staten Island Zoo and saved by a good Samaritan who found her wandering | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Coda was a female bunny, but her breed was unknown. She may have been an English Spot, either way she was cute! | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Although we called her Coda, her original name and age are unknown. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Many people buy rabbits from pet stores around Easter. When the cute little babies they bought outgrow the small rabbit cages, people resort to immoral measures. Many dump the rabbits in parks, but don't realize these are domestic rabbits who are not equipped to survive in those conditions. Others bring them to shelters which are filled with rabbits, and have no other choice than to put them to sleep. Coda was one of the lucky ones, so was I to have been given the opportunity to care for her. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Coda was very curious about the other bunnies in my room. She was always trying to find a way to meet them. However, one of her successful adventures sent her to the ER Vet with a nasty gash in her chin. |

| UPDATE | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Coda passed away due to complications of a spay that was done by a person who had no right operating on a rabbit. It was her long struggle through extreme pain that drove me to start the Coda Rabbit Educational Rescue. Since Coda's passing I have welcomed 2 new bunnies into my home/sanctuary and 1foster bunny, DIva, who was adopted by a caring person who affectionately renamed her "Gracie". Cadence, who was abandoned outdoors, and Prelude. Prelude was left in a bucket in an alley. I love them dearly and can't understand what is wrong with people. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
