Art, Signs and Heart Designs
Beauty in life must be sought.  Love is always borrowed, never bought.  Therefore, take advantage of every opportunity, but take nothing for granted.
In case you're wondering, I'm the one on the left. Too many times humans leave a detrimental mark on the land.  Too many animals and too much land has been lain to waste.
Painting with other artists in the family.
Natural Resources and Endangered Species
Wild life is our INHERITANCE from God, yet man has seen fit to treat other beings, including wild animals with disdain and inimical behavior.
Look for Nelson Mandela, Corretta Scott King and me.
People from all over the world share many common threads, not the least of which is that we are all human beings.
They came before us, yet we reverance them not.  They take what they need, while most men take out of greed.
I'm still impressed with this painting.  I look at it and marvel.  Painting comes so naturally to me.
I changed two things that were in the photo:  1.  the fence behind the boy.  2.  In the photo his fly was open.  I closed it.  :)
On the lighter side...This man, modeling the jacket, wanted to give his wife a special gift:  Her horse painted on her favorite jacket.
Child's Play.  I was purusing an old National Geographic mag., when I came across the photo of this boy.  I had to paint him.  Here he's captured, possessing passion and pride.  All human beings have the capacity to love.
In case you're wondering...That's me.  Among other favorable changes, my hair looks quite different.
Sign painting was THE hardest kind of art to learn.  It's great fun and rewarding.
Man it was cold that day...40*F!  But work is work, and duty called.
This is a hand lettered sign, no stencils, done the "old fashioned" way.
