Phone: e-mail me if you need my number.
Email: [email protected]
AIM: R0CKitD0NTstopIT
Website: Redwood City Hardcore
Address: N/A
Ask for: Kenny
Description: Hey, if you're an out-of-town band or on tour, you can contact me and i will do my best to set something up with the places we have in the area. I can't promise ya anything, but if the show does work out, I know a lot of local bands that would love to play and would bring out a good amount of kids to the show. ***note, the only downside is, unless it's the summer or some crazzy vacation, most shows around here happen on fri-sun.

Description: Web design/development with a lot of use of graphic design. Pricing is usually non-existent. I don't usually charge, but I would ask that the band covers any charges for .com fee's and other hosting services. I also do some booking when Kenny is busy or needs the extra help.

Ask for: Sunny
Description: This is quite possibly the ONLY place you can have a DIY show in San Francisco. The only bad part is that you (or someone you know with money) has to rent it out to put on a show here. Here are the details of renting it out:
You first have to e-mail them sometime in advance to see if the day you want is available. The balazo charges $125 on weekdays and $150 for weekends to rent the place out. So what happens is you have to give them the deposit of $125 (or $150 on weekends) which they give back to you, but out of what money you make at the door (so the first 30 or so people you get to come to the show help gets your $125/$150 back). and then, what ever money is left after you get your deposite back (if there IS money left after), they split it 60/40, 60 percent goes to you, and 40 percent goes to the Balazo.
***note: if you book a show here, make sure you flyer/spread the word like crazzy, cause you could easily make your money back (charge $5 a person, all you need is about 30 people to make your money back), the only hard part is having kids come out to San Francisco to watch your show. But it is possible.
Average # of bands: 4 or 5. This all depends on you (if you're booking the show) make sure you manage your time wisely though.
Average show rate: It does not matter, this is one of the only places for a weeknight show too.
Average price: $5-$7. This also depends on you (if you're booking the show) I believe.

Stage: Yes, but it is only like a foot tall and enough room to fit drummer and cabs.
