I am pleased to be able to bring you this site and pictures of my horses, kids, and a little piece of my life here at Red Wolf Stable. Red Wolf Stable was established in 2001, but don't let that fool you. Hi I'm Lois York and I am proud to say that I have been around Paso Fino and Peruvian Paso horses now for over 25 years. All thanks to my mother Laura Wallace York. She brought her first Paso Fino in from Randi Scott of Scott Lugo Farms in 1977. Maxmillion SL was a 14.2hh chestnut colt with four white socks and a star, strip, and snip. He showed at the nationals after my mother sold him back into the states.
Next my mother brought in a Peruvian Paso gelding from California named El Tigre. He had extreme termino and everyone in our area thought he was quite the site. Yeller was a golden palomino, with a very smooth gait being 14.2hh and 1000lbs he was a very well put together horse. But people in this area without the education of this breed made fun of him and he too was sold down into the east.
Now we look to the future with many dreams of wonderful horses with gait, size and temperment. My horses all come from foundation stock and most are not for sale. But if you see something of interest while your here please feel free to contact me.
