About Me
I love to line dance!  So much so that I've built a barn to dance in whenever I want.  Preble County is a beautiful place to live, but there's no place to dance on a Friday night!

In 1997 I married Jim Hoffman and we moved here to get a taste of farm life.  Prior to that I had been dancin' somewhere (Cheyenne, Coyote's, Cadalilac Ranch, VFW Halls, etc) every night.   I continued to work in Cincinnati every day and the 2 hours on the road put a damper on my dancin'.

Now that I'm retired I'm back on the dance circuit with very few places to go.
On July 26, 2007 my beloved husband and best friend, Jim,  passed away suddenly.  We had almost 10 wonderful years here together.
I've got an intermediate line dance class on Thursday's at 6:00 pm in my barn and there's a beginner class on Wednesay  night at 6:30 pm and the last Sunday of each month we have a dance at 1:00 pm.  There is a class right for you !
If you're near Preble County in Ohio, send me and email for more information.
I have a daughter, Shanda and a son, Ken,  and one grandson, Brian, all who live in Cincinnati.

Well, that pretty much covers what you need to know about me.  Now tell me about yourself:
As for farm life, we've tried it all: horses (Dakota), mules (Journey and Babe), pigs (Ike & Mike), cows (Poky, and Jackie), chickens, goats, ducks, and geese.  At one time we had 30 bottle calves to feed twice a day.  We loved them all but decided they were too much work (ha! ha!).  Then, the coyotes, foxes and owls killed all our chickens and ducks so now we stick to dogs (3) and cats (2).

We ride around our 10 acres in golf carts (the lazy man's way) and fish every evening in the pond.  It's an idealic life and we feel we've been truly Blessed to be here.
