Ray performs across the country and can be solo with his portable music system or with a live band, up to a full orchestra. He is available for special events, weddings, parties, engagements or whatever social event you have. He performs the music of the "Rat Pack" era specializing in Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Junior, Bobbie Darin, Nat King Cole and Tony Bennett. Ray trained under the legendary Las Vegas performer Al Lotta who is famous for his "Rat Pack" impersonations and his wide range of material. His famous rendition of "All the Way" featuring the voices of all of the Rat Pack and 30 of their closest celebrities including Tony Bennett, Nat King Cole and Jerry Lewis made the New York Times call him " a true musical comedic genius". Ray oftens drops into the Cigar Box in Kansas City to cameo with his friend and mentor Al Lotta. Ray also often performs and duets with Gennifer Flowers at her Kelsto Club in New Orleans. He also is a regular at the "Rib Room" club in the Historic Omni Royal Orleans. Ray has performed for celebrities such as famous New Orleans Chef "Emeril" Lagasse, Rudy Giulianni and Matt Dillon, for foreign ambassadors and their embassies. Ray's band in New Orleans is the Big Easy Rat Pack Krewe which is led by the Legendary Jazz Trumpeter, Mark Braud of The Harry Connick Band, who calls Ray "a tribute to the music of the Summit". Members of the band include Las Vegas piano legend Bobby Ellis, Pete Fountain's legendary Bass player, Mr. Jim Black and "Big Daddy" Patchy Francious on the drums. |
