The Redwall series spans all corners of the imagination, tearing through the vital themes that young readers will inevitably incidence themselves with. For all its mice and menaces, it still relays, beyond fantasy, some fascinating messages. Redwall: A Teaching Guide takes a broad look at Brian Jacques' series, extracting from it the crucial moments, meanings and symbolism that will help egg on young readers. This helps to not only further the imaginative
process but also reveals some intrinsic elements that will add great depth to the reading experience.

From GarlicPress.com:
A Challenging Level teaching guide for  advanced readers, accenting the theme of the Journey. Designed not only for the appreciation of good literature, but to introduce the more rigorous elements of literary criticism, such as critical writing, plot design and conflict, irony, rhetoric, point of view, foreshadowing and flashback, dialogue, and more. The perfect supplement to a fine piece of literature.

Notes from Rowan:

Err... sounds pretty dry, doesn't it?  Well, I've heard that it has some very interesting sections, like what dialects the moles and Sparra speak - the kind of thing that Redwallers just love.  It's fairly cheap, so why not go for it?
