Phantom Of The Opera

Basel, Switzerland . Four track single (Phantom Of The Opera, Music Of The Night, All I Ask Of You, and Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again.) Features Florian Schneider. Rare recording of the Swiss  in German.

*I originally received this on a cassette and have since transferred to CD, however, I've listed it here because it IS an official  recording.*

1 CD

Das Phantom Der Oper

Stuttgart Demo featuring Peter Hoffman and Anna Maria Kaufmann.

(I'm not sure . . . this *might* be from Hamburg, not Stuttgart? I need to do some research, it just seems weird that Hoffman and Kaufmann never played Stuttgart and they're on the demo? Unless they just took tracks from the Original Hamburg Cast Recording, slapped it together and called it a highlights.)

4 tracks: Denk An Mich, Engel Der Muse, Das Phantom Der Oper, Die Musik Der Nacht

1 CD

Phantom Of The Opera

Highlights. Now, I don't know a whole lot about this recording. I bought an original copy, and it is the ALW music, but the singers are unlisted. A somewhat different highlights – ends with Point Of No Return. CD bears this - "This Compilation 1996 Retro Music, Made in Canada." If anyone can provide me with more information I'd be appreciative. As far as the singers go . . . better off with the Original Canadian . They're not really anything special, I'd say it was more of an interesting collectors item than anything else.

Phantom Of The Opera / Sunset Boulevard

Highlights – the studio  recording starring Ethan Freeman, Claire Moore, and John Barrowman. Highlights up to Point of No Return from POTO, then a few select tracks from SB.

I'll generally mention if anything major is missing - but if I haven't listened to the full audio, I may not know. So if in doubt, please ask first. Fuller track lists may be available on request.

I take age into account when I grade an audio - so an A from say, 1986 isn't going to be anywhere near an A from 2003.

New/Unreviewed Items are in BLUE; any descriptions on these items come from the previous trader and are NOT my final grade!

Notes that you might see in my descriptions:

(S/B) or (SB): Standby

(Alt): Alternate

(U/S) or (US): Understudy

(?): This next to an either actor's name means I have reason to believe that the cast has been mislabeled - or I have been told the cast is best guesses. Or I have made my own guess based on research.  Next to one of the above notes (SB, Alt, US) means I'm not positive that they are not a principal cast member. This next to a date means I am not 100% sure the date is correct (and normally I'll explain why in my full description!)

Cassette Transfer: Indicates an item I received on cassette and transferred to CD myself

VHS Transfer / DVD Rip: Indicates an item that I originally received as a video and made an audio out of.

Soundboard: Indicates an item that I have been informed was made from the soundboard in the theatre.

Highlights: A recording that is not full show (or close to full - I don't consider missing the Entr'acte a highlights recording.)

Digital: A recording that was made with a mini-disk recorder.

Originally Analog: Either I've been informed by the previous trader that they received it on cassette, or have assumed due to age.

Master: An item that I personally recorded

HSD: High-Speed Dubbing, distorts recordings over time. Encountered in older audios that originated on cassette.
