Dusty arrived in December of 2005 from a previous flyball/agility home. Due to some unforseen circumstances, Dusty needed a new home...specifically a working home. Since then, Dusty has become an outstanding family member and has proven to be a very strong, driven worker. Discovering individual talents has been a challenge and a joy at the same time. While Agility is, by far, his best sport, he is a fabulous Flyball dog as well. Dusty is extremely biddable...even with his elementary child partner. One of his current handlers is an elementary school girl and together they do K9 Musical Freestyle.
Dusty's favorite pastimes are barking, eating, and bonding with his child handler. He enjoys any type of work that's presented to him and happily barks through all his work/training sessions! Dusty's newest endeavor is Disc Dog Freestyle. Dusty's K9 Musical Freestyle abilities have been adapted for Disc Dog Freestyle. Voila!! A Micro Dog Division competitor may be in the works here.
Watch for Dusty on the flyball lanes, the agility course, on the dance floor, or even on the disc dog field. Dusty is out to show that, even with his short lil' legs, he can do it all! |
