On mining ship RED DWARF Lister thought it would be his free ticket back to Earth, after a drunken monopoly pub crawl! But alas meeting Rimmer, his clever scheme to slack off work and smuggling a cat aboard caused a comedy or errors killing everyone. Millions of years later he is released from stasis by Holly the ships 'super' computer - who is a few meg short of a ram now hes been alone for such a long time trying to navigate faster than the speed of light! Thinking he was doing Lister a favour Holly hologramed Rimmer (the biggest smeg head ever) to keep Listy company! LOL The cat has mutated and evolved into "The Cat" a very smooth, very vain and pretty stupid member of the team. Along the way they pick up Kryten (hehehe) who killed his last crew by being anal retentive and cleaning them to their death!! But Lister sure need his socks and undies washed, so Kryters saves the day many a time while having his files corrupted by Dave. Kochanzski is Listers love of a lifetime and she somehow gets to join this renegade bunch of smegheads through an alternate demention or stasis leak or something!!? Infinity welcomes careful drivers - NOT! All the eight series are in my VHS collection - I love it!
