Many people are afraid of snakes. They probably think that they are slimy. They are not. People think they are slimy because they sometimes look slimy. Some kinds actually are good pets. Here is a list of the kinds of snakes that are good for pets.

Lizards are cool. I think the most common kind is a gecko. Some lizards are huge. The biggest lizard in the world is the Komodo Dragon. It can grow to over 10 feet long. They can weigh over 200 pounds. The Komodo Dragon is a type of monitor lizard. Most monitor lizards are big. some kinds of lizards are popular as pets. Geckos and other small lizards are popular as pets. Lots of people like turtles. They can get huge and live way longer than a human. Some kinds of turtles stay small though. They all are slow walkers. |
