Synopsis:
Let's say that you have some video files on your computer that you don't want anyboy else to see, including your parents. One option is to delete them, but they could be undeleted with good software. Or you could scramble the file names so that no one would be able to tell what the file is, except you. Even the file extension is scrambled so that other users cannot find your files with any type of search tool.
I have taken the time to create a program to hide your files with only a few clicks. Also, the program remembers folders you visit often for ease of use. But where these folder paths are stored are encrypted. Also, anyone trying to open these unique files will not bring up a media player, but instead the "Open With..." dialog box, leaving them stumpless. These hidden files have an unique file extension(*.pdl) so you know that these files are not to be deleted.
Finally, this program provides much flexibility allowing you to add other file types to be hidden. For me I don't use Real Player, but if a user does, they will be able to add those files to be allowed to be hidden easily.
Best yet, for now this program is FREE! If it becomes a hit, I could turn the tables. So download it now, to be free of fees that may come to be.

Added a couple features and fixed some bugs.
You can explore folders at the touch of a button. Also directly from this program, you can open up unhidden files with your default application in your default view. Makes life faster and easier.
Fixed bug that occurs when unhidding files. Every time you clicked on a file name, it wanted to unhide that file. Even if, when you click Unhide Files, it wasn't selected.
I changed some screen shots to show the newest look of the program. I think that the size of the page is 95 KB.
Ok, I'm saying screw the message board idea, especially if you have to register to post something. I have created a homemade board from scratch. Type in what you want to say for everyone else to see, and NO NEED TO REGISTER! :)

Download PDL Hider if you haven't downloaded it before. Just extract to a new folder, no install. Then read the readme. See Help>Instructions after starting the program. Size is approx: 17KB

This is a zip file that just has the new app and new readme. Extract to the same folder, and overwrite the readme file. You will have two exe files, you can delete the 2.0+, or not, it's up to you. If you have added extensions or saved directories, they will work with v2.2. Size is approx: 14KB
