These are some of the bands I have been listening to latelty. Most of the are from the UK, and they are mostly 'Britpop.' But not Justin Trousersnake pop. The style is rock/alternative. |

Ok...I honestly can't be in England and NOT listen to Blur. The English LOVE them. I never got into them really back at home, but being here.....i heard a lot more from them. Now I like um! They are definatly a great band to pissed to and jump up and down.

The Doves are a fairly new band. Their first album was released in 2000. I have their lastest album The Last Broadcast. They are a very chill band. They are from Manchester England.

Feeder has made it's way to America. Some of their songs are on soundtracks...such as American Wedding. Even after the suicide death of their drummer the two founding memebers record and tour as Feeder.

How can I have a music page with out including Radiohead?!! As you all know they are my fav!! Well, as in America they aren't too main stream in England either. However, more people have heard of them. I saw them on tour, and it was a fantastic show!!

Stereophonics |

The Stereophonics are from Wales..and they are great! I have bought a few of their cds. They are traditional British Rock. I would have to say their album World Gets Round is the best. But it is all good!!

The Thrills are from Dublin, Ireland.....so we can't call them Britpop. They are though still 'alternative rock.' They are the newest band on the list. They have one album So Much for the City.

Travis is another band that took off in the UK, but was just lukewarm in the States. I liked them before I came here as well. There new album is very good...I recomend it!

I listen to lot of other music too, but many of these bands are also popular in America (such as Coldplay). But here is a list of other bands I have listened to on the radio or from friends. Not my favoirties, but maybe some will be in a few months! Just an example of other bands popular. I will update this section!!

Pop: Sugababes, Atomic Kitten (most note...they just broke up..shame), Kylie Minogue
