Michael Pickett now has a site up on YouTube. Yup, we've jumped on the bandwagon and put up some videos that will, hopefully, appeal to you. If you are, then we cheerfuly invite you to share them with everyone you know!

Check out this wonderful review of Michael opening for UK's r&b sensation James Hunter at the Lula Lounge back in November.
3. Trane Studio
Trane Studio (964 Bathurst St., Toronto) is displaying 16 of Live Music Report's photos until December 31. Michael's photo taken at the Lula Lounge is included in this exhibit. There was a feature article about the exhibit in the "What's On" section of the Toronto Star and Michael's picture was in there too. The caption speaks volumes.
4. Southern US Tour
Michael's annual southern US tour is coming up soon (late January to mid March). Of course, I'll go with him (as usual). Can't resist heading south in the winter. Booking is ongoing and gigs can be viewed at www.michaelpickett.com. Our good friend Gary Nicholson (remember that name?) is setting up a gig for them in Nashville at the famous Bluebird Cafe in March and he's hoping that Colin Linden will join them if he's available. Gary is one of Nashville's finest and most successful songwriters (he and Michael have penned some tunes together) and has recently been nominated for the Songwriters Hall of Fame!
5. European Tour
Last, and certainly not the least, Michael will be heading to Europe the third week of March for his first solo European tour. Not to be confused with his four UK tours... mind you, he did a concert in Spain in October this year. He'd taken his band to Europe in 2001 for a three- week tour and did well. Now, of course, he's solo and will be entertaining a whole different kind of audience. I'd love to be a fly on the wall for that!
