On January 17/07, Brenda will be delivering a presentation at the "Literacy Can Save Lives" national conference at the University of Toronto.
On January 31/07, at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, TVO will broadcast the awards ceremony for the "Telling Our Stories" contest. This initiative by the Federation of Ontario Public Libraries serves to celebrate the magic of public libraries in our communities. Ms. Chapman will be one of the five judges. The contest, for ages 18 and over, ran from October 16 to November 30 across Ontario, but the public can also vote, until December 15, by rating the stories, which have been posted online.
